Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a combination of a hack-and-slash and an action RPG, as well as a spin-off of the bestselling Devil May Cry series. It was developed by NebulaJoy and supervised by Capcom. It is a free-to-play game featuring microtransactions. PlotThe story doesn't play an important role in Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. The main protagonist, Dante, already known from the series' other installments, joins other heroes such as Lady, Vergil and Nero in battle against hordes of monsters, demons and hellish creatures. MechanicsDevil May Cry: Peak of Combat makes use of the third-person perspective (TPP). The player traverses various locations and fights enemies. Combat is dynamic, emphasizing constant movement, switching weapons, skills and attacks as well as chaining them into flashy combos. The game continuously grades our performance, forcing the player to master the combat system in order to earn the highest ranks. Other than regular foes we'll also face much more powerful bosses, led by the most iconic foes from the main series.
