In order to do this, it is necessary to perform specific tasks, such as catching a target or destroying an object. Future Cop also allows you to test your skills in a kind of deathmatch, in which two pilots face each other. Each of them has its own base, where it can produce tanks. The aim is to bring one of these vehicles to the rival's command point. This task is hindered by the protective objects, which are being reborn over time by turrets. In both modules players can play alone or with another person on a split screen. Technical aspectsFuture Cop: L.A.P.D is a three-dimensional action game in which the camera presents the action from behind the character's back by default. The creators also made it possible to select other views, including the projection from above the pilot machine.
