Game description:
Star Trek Pinball is an arcade game, created on the wave of popularity of the pinball genre and the unflagging fascination of fans of the Star Trek universe. The Sales Curve Interactive team is responsible for the creation of the title, known to players mainly from the controversial Carmageddon or the cult SWIV shooting. The game offers three different tables, filled to the brim with references to the popular series. It is Boldly Go who focuses mainly on the character of Captain Kirk and the heroes standing on the side of the Federation. The next table, Quapla', is in the clinical style. Both of them can be played simultaneously by up to four people. The third table called Nemesis is intended for two-player head-to-head or LAN gameplay only. It consists of two separate chambers, equipped with their own pairs of paws, and the game reflects the clingon clash, in which each faction has at its disposal half of the table. Individual tables are viewed in 3D view, and prerendered graphics can be displayed in SVGA 800x600 resolution. Apart from the traditional elements such as ramps, bumpers and various bonuses, the creators did not forget about the animated display and the possibility of playing multiple balls at the same time. The downside of the game is the not fully thought-out architecture of the tables and the impossibility of changing the keyboard occupancy. On the other hand, an unquestionable attraction for Star Trek fans is the soundtrack, consisting of original samples transferred from the series.
