Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival is an indie action game combining survival, crafting, base building and colonization. It was developed and published by Tbjbu2. MechanicsThe game mostly revolves around exploring a vast world. The time periods shown within (ranging from prehistory to the far future) are relatively short, introducing various mechanics. The player can fight, craft tools, build bases or design machines. The game has a few main mechanics tied to survival. The first is creating items and constructions. In the early ages, the playable character must stick to stone or iron tools, while later they'll start building more advanced machinery. They can also build primitive houses, which over time evolve into clusters of more advanced buildings. The player must remember the game's tech tree is linear and won't let them design their own buildings. Researching new tech requires resources, gathered while exploring different time periods. The player can navigate different environments on foot or using various means of transportation which differ depending on the time period: roaming dinosaurs, boats, hot air balloons, planes or spaceships. There are also many enemies to encounter, ranging from humans and animals to cosmic horrors. Depending on the time period, the character has access to different weaponry: rocks, melee weapons or firearms. We can also ride dinosaurs, drive tanks or even mechas.
