BMX The Game is an arcade simulator for the title racing bikes. The game was developed by the Barspin Studios; it is interesting to note that its name was borrowed from one of the popular BMX tricks (called barspin). MechanicsIn BMX The Game we get to modern Barcelona, which we can freely travel on BMX. In addition, the authors give us a number of existing bikeparks from different parts of the world, where you can go crazy. The core of the game is riding the bicycle and performing spectacular (and often dangerous) tricks. Unlike most other games of this type, we perform tricks not by pressing buttons, but gestures on the analogue sticks of the gamepad. Moreover, the physics engine ensures realistic behaviour of bikes and surrounding elements. There are also complex editors in the game. The developers allow us to create our own racers, design clothes and bikes (both their design and parts like wheels and pedals or saddles can be adjusted to individual preferences). Apart from that, nothing stands in the way of establishing your own bikepark. The game also records the last minute of the game on an ongoing basis, and the replay editor allows, among other things, to present our ride from different cameras or to add smooth transitions between shots. Game modesBMX The Game only allows for single player mode. A substitute for multiplayer is the opportunity to share your replay and bikeparks with the whole community. Technical aspectsThe graphic design of BMX The Game presents itself decently; in terms of quality, it does not differ too much from what most other extreme sports games are used to.
