Rune Factory 3 Special is a remastered, content-enhanced version of 2009's Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. It's a farming RPG by Marvelous, emphasizing action more than other games of the same genre. PlotRune Factory 3 Special is set in a fantasy world gripped by conflict between humans and monsters. The game's protagonist is Micah, a young man able to transform into a golden, sheep-like monster a wooly. After suffering an accident, he's saved by a young woman and ends up in a provincial town of Sharance. Upon waking up, he discovers he has lost his memory and gets wrapped up in an ongoing war. Micah must restore peace in the land to solve the mystery of his past. MechanicsRune Factory 3 Special makes use of the top-down perspective. The player must traverse the world, get to know its inhabitants, establish relationships and complete various quests for them. The land is war-torn, and there's plenty of combat to be had. Micah can wield melee weapons, magic and transform into a monster, granting him a new moveset. He can also recruit other humans and monsters, summoning them to battle. Most of our downtime will be spent on our farm. Micah can farm, fish and seek love. Having found a love interest, continuous romantic interactions may eventually lead to marriage and children.
