Anno 1404: Venice is an expansion for the fourth part of a popular economic strategy game series. The expansion lets you take part in development of early Venice and try out a new multiplayer mode. Another novelty is city council board. You can manipulate them, buy a place in the board, or acquire keys to the city. All this in order to take over an enemy city without shedding a drop of blood. The expansion contains over 300 new quests of two mission types: trading race and ship boarding, a bunch of new challenges, and 60 extra items. Anno 1404: Venice owners also get a chance to explore a new type of island ? the Volcano island. An essential innovation is multiplayer mode. This allows players not only to compete against one another, but also form alliances and work together against an AI-controlled enemy. Up to 4 people can play together in one session.
