The main character is Gladia, a monster hunter leading a four-person team. The heroes are faced with the task of finding a cure for a mysterious disease killing people in two kingdoms: Tripuda and Maelon. The core of the game is exploration, conversations with NPCs and completing tasks assigned by them. Equally important, however, are the clashes with opponents, during which we make use of special cards collected during our adventure. The richer our deck is, the more tactical possibilities we have during turn-based battles. The key to success is also the skillful use of the individual abilities of our heroes. The whole is complemented by environmental puzzles, the solving of which often pushes the action forward. Technical aspectsVisually, Trulon: The Shadow Engine looks decent. The graphic design has been maintained in a characteristic cartoon style, and the attention is drawn especially to the diverse, picturesque locations.
