Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX is an improved and content-enhanced version of the Japanese RPG Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk. Koei Tecmo, the company behind the development and release of this production, expanded it with all DLCs prepared for the basic version, as well as costumes, events, bosses and a new difficulty level that appeared in the Plus edition, released in 2014 for PlayStation Vita. A complete novelty are the new features that improve exploration and clashes with opponents. PlotAtelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX tells a new story that is not related to the previous parts of the series. The production takes us on a journey to a fantastic world, which we explore in the skin of the title character, Ayesha Altugle. In order to find a sister named Nio, who is missing in mysterious circumstances, the girl has to explore the secrets of alchemy. The matter is complicated by the fact that she has only a few years to do so. If she fails, Nio will be lost forever. MechanicsIn Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX the action is observed from third person perspective (TPP). The pillar of the gameplay is the complex system of alchemy, which allows you to create new items based on components of different quality and properties reflecting their usefulness in synthesis. In addition, during the game, we travel to vast locations and talk to characters, as well as perform tasks pushing the plot forward. In return for doing the tasks we receive points, which we can use to complete Ayesha's diary, which in turn gives us access to special bonuses. An important role in the production is also played by clashes with opponents in turn-based mode. During skirmishes we have a limited number of action points spent on using a particular piece of equipment or attacking an adversary; please note that the further away the chosen opponent is from us, the more action points an attack costs. Ayesha is not condemned to fight alone as she progresses, she is joined by other heroes who take part in the fighting. In the DX version, exploration has been improved by adding a running function so that Ayesha can move faster through locations. In addition, the developers provide the "Fast-forward Battle" feature, which allows you to speed up clashes with enemies. Technical aspectsJust like the original game, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX has colourful graphics maintained in manga style.
