Survive the Blackout is a narrative survival game set in a post-apocalyptic reality, where mankind has been deprived of electricity. The game is the debut work of Baby Bison Games. PlotThe action of Survive the Blackout takes place in a world, in which electricity has suddenly disappeared. This event caused the collapse of civilisation. The task of the player is to bring a group of survivors to a safe haven. The game greatly emphasizes non-linearity and difficult moral choices. Each decision made during the game has some consequences, which influence the further course of the story. Thanks to this, every next adventure can look different. MechanicsSurvive the Blackout is based on exploration and taking care of the needs of the group, in which it resembles This War of Mine. During the adventure, the player can, among other things, check out abandoned buildings in search of useful items and talk to a wide range of different NPCs. Each character has four indicators that determine their state health, hunger, energy and happiness. The player must take care to keep them at the highest possible level.
