Aftermath is an psychological thriller action adventure game. It was developed by One-O-One Games studio, and its publisher is Meta Publishing. PlotThe protagonist of Aftermath is Charlie astronaut, whose last journey back to Earth didn't go as planned. The traumatic experience has drastically changed the woman, who since then is less and less able to face her demons. When a European city is attacked by extraterrestrials, she must pull herself together and fight for survival, as well as do everything she can to find her daughter Sammy. But it won't be easy, as an invisible and seemingly indestructible enemy is hot on her heels. In the course of the dangerous journey we gradually learn the answers to numerous questions, as well as discover what is the truth and what is only a figment of Charlie's imagination. Game mechanicsIn Aftermath we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). Over the city is hovering an ancient artifact. The streets and buildings are full of enemies and deadly anomalies. To deal with opponents, we must skillfully use every available weapon, as well as show cunning and perceptiveness to discover their weaknesses. In moments when we have to escape, dexterity comes in handy; Charlie can climb or jump over terrain obstacles. In the game we can also find survival elements. During the game we have to provide Charlie with food and keep her mental and physical health at the right level.
