The game begins like a light-hearted romantic comedy film, but further into the story, the atmosphere changes dramatically. MechanicsDoki Doki Literature Club published on PC is a visual novel. This means that gameplay comes down to reading dialogues and watching 2D, hand-drawn illustrations of characters and locations.
