Game description:
A special package consisting of two parts of Pop Top Software's well-known strategic series Tropico, as well as an addition to the first of them Tropico: Rajska Wyspa. In Tropico, we move into the 1950s, in which, as a Caribbean dictator, we take over power on one of the poor islands of the fictional archipelago. As in other economic strategies, at Tropico we must demonstrate our ability to exercise power, overcome poverty, social tensions and other difficulties and ensure that our young people progress evenly. More information about the game can be found here. Tropico: Paradise Island is the official addition to Tropico's economic strategy Pop Top Software. The player once again has the opportunity to become the dictator of a small island somewhere in the Caribbean, live in virtual prosperity and use their given. The patch introduces to the game over 20 new scenarios, a number of new buildings (including Army Base, Colonial Fort, Marina and El Presidente's Childhood Home), new attractions for tourists (tennis courts, beach villas), as well as new types of tourists, such as Eco-Tourist and Spring Break Tourist. Moreover, our island will be haunted by numerous unfriendly meteorological phenomena, such as gusty tropical storms and hurricanes, and we, as a dictator, will gain more attributes, thanks to which we will be able to manipulate people. In Tropico 2: Pirate Bay we have the opportunity to become a true ruler of the southern seas of the 17th century. Unlike the first part of the game, where as a totalitarian ruler we managed the resources of a small island, now as the king of pirates we manage a base, hidden on one of the islands of the archipelago. The game is based on the same graphical engine that was used in the original Tropico, however, it has undergone many improvements and modifications. On the other hand, the gameplay economy turned 180 degrees. While in Tropico we could sell what we produced on our island, in the Gulf of Pirates we take and use goods stolen from others mainly merchant ships. We are also kidnapping hostages, which we can use as labour or demand a high ransom from the family. More information about the game can be found here.
