Game description:
GigaBash is a fighting game inspired by kaiju movies and such games as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, War of the Monsters and Power Stone. It was developed by an indie studio Passion Republic Games. MechanicsGigaBash makes use of the top-down perspective. The primary gameplay mechanic is combat between massive monsters, called titans, and mighty mechs. In the game's initial release there were no licensed monsters, though the inspirations were very clear. Over time, however, GigaBash received DLC packs that have introduced Godzilla monsters and characters from Ultraman. Combat takes place on various arenas, ranging from modern cities to more exotic locations. As one can easily guess, buildings are no obstacle to huge monsters, meaning the arenas get wrecked in the course of battle. To succeed, we must make good use of our abilities, special moves, block and counter our enemy's attacks. After filling a special meter we can also evolve into an unstoppable S-class titan. Game modesGigaBash supports singleplayer and multiplayer, both local and online. There are story campaigns, 1v1 and 2v2 battles, as well as free-for-alls for four players. There's also party mode full of various mini-games and horde mode, in which we face off against waves of enemies. The final mode is the tournament mode, in which we fight eight random opponents and an S-class boss at the end. Technical aspectsGigaBash features colorful, appealing visuals. The destructible environments are especially impressive, though the monsters and powerful attacks are also rather nice to look at. Last updated on 14 December 2023
