Blaster Master Zero 3 is the next part of the series of platform shoot'em ups, started in 1988, and at the same time the third installment of the Zero sub-series, started in 2017. It was developed by Inti Creates studio, which has in its portfolio such projects as games under the Gal*Gun , Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon or Azure Striker Gunvolt brands. PlotThe main hero of Blaster Master Zero 3 is Jason, a hero known from the previous parts of the series. One last task awaits the protagonist, which is to save his partner Eve. To complete it, the hero has to return to the place where his journey began, the planet Sophia. MechanicsAs in previous installments of the series, gameplay in Blaster Master Zero 3 is based on two pillars. When we control the protagonist's vehicle, we observe the action from the side, and the game consists of jumping on platforms, avoiding numerous traps and shooting enemies. However, when Jason leaves the machine, his actions are presented from the top-down view, and the game becomes a simple shoot'em up, in which we dash ahead and eliminate hosts of enemies. Struggles in both modes are varied by skirmishes with powerful bosses. What's more, as you progress, you develop both Jason and his vehicle, which increases your combat potential and allows you to face more challenges. Technical aspectsBlaster Master Zero 3 is deeply rooted in the retro sphere not only in terms of mechanics, but also the audiovisual layer.
