The Lord of the Rings Online: Minas Morgul is the seventh big add-on to the MMORPG set in Middle-earth, the famous fantasy world created by the genre's father, J.R.R. Tolkien. The production introduces new locations, another race, several hundred quests and a plot set after the fall of Sauron. The title was developed by the Standing Stone Games studio. The publisher is Daybreak Game Company. PlotThe Lord of the Rings Online: Minas Morgul takes place after the events of the Lord of the Rings novel cycle, i.e. the fall of Sauron. The plot of the expansion is focused on a clash with the other servants of evil. The story also features the spirit of Isildur, the human king who defeated the Lord of Darkness during the war of the Last Alliance. MechanicsThe Lord of the Rings Online: Minas Morgul introduces two new locations, linked to the title fortress Minas Morgul, known for its novels and films (it is a castle that was previously ruled by the mighty Wizard of Angmar, the leader of The Nazgul, and the strongest among them). In add-on we will find several hundred new tasks, some of which are related to the new plot, while others are side missions. The expansion also offers seven instances (for three- and six-person groups), another race (a dwarf variant called Stout-axe Dwarf) and a rally in which we fight a dangerous spider queen Shelob. Thanks to the new content we can also advance to a higher level of experience the new limit is 130. The creators have also introduced a number of changes to the system of craftsmanship and the activities of the Crafting Guild, including the guarantee of creating rare objects.
