The game is designed in such way that a single match does not take longer than 10 minutes. Even though gameplay features simpler mechanics that the PC / Windows counterpart, World of Warships Blitz is not a stale game. Ships are powerful but heavy. Achieving high velocities takes a lot of time and the swift change of direction is practically impossible. Moreover, battles are fought on long distances, thus one should aim not at the enemy unit directly, rather at the spot the where a unit is soon about to be. All the units feature realistic damage system, in which particular sections of a ship get damaged affecting the vessel in a different way, while a player often has to tend to the damage, e.g. by putting down a fire. All this makes for a great tactical experience.
