Dance Party: Dance X-Treme is one of the few representatives of the genre of dance games, designed primarily for the PC platform. The production sold in Poland by IQ Publishing is addressed primarily to dance music lovers who will certainly appreciate the value of this position. The program offers a typically arcade model of gameplay, characteristic for many other games of this type (e.g. Dancing with the Stars, In The Groove or Dance Dance Revolutionseries). Players choose one of the dance or disco music tracks available in the game, and then perform the appropriate sequence of moves according to the rhythm and melody flowing from the speakers. In order to fully enjoy the Dance Party: Dance X-Treme, it is worth buying a special dance mat, cooperating with the program, which will actively record our actions (the keys in this case replace the special fields on the device) and thanks to which we can play in a much more active way, enjoying the game more and taking care of our physical condition at the same time. The game can communicate with a number of compatible dance mats (e.g. IMPACT Dance Mat and PC Dance Mat USB), which can be purchased separately or purchased in an attractive price set, together with a copy of the title. What is absolutely crucial for this type of games is the ability of the built-in gaming cabinet, which must contain a rich collection of the best and latest dance tracks. In this case, the producer has tried to get a lot of popular songs, from classics like Denzel's "Pump It Up" and "Dragostea Din Tei" by O-Zone, through the hit "Kanikuly 2007". Code Reda, up to slightly calmer notes of "Voyage, Voyage" by Kate Ryan, "Tu Es Foutu" by Italian Ingrid or the legendary "You're A Woman" by Bad Boys Blue.
