Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax is a shoot'em up game developed by independent developer Dreamloop Games. StoryAction of Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax take place in 2087 where a formation known as the Galactic Police Force takes care of keeping the peace in the galaxy. The players take on the role of its members and face various threats at the helm of a Galaxy Gear Mechs armed to the teeth. MechanicsIn Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax the action is observed from the side. During the game we travel through various locations (from the sea depths, through alien nests and interplanetary space, to haunted factories) and battle enemies. During the game, we take control over one of the five mechs differentiated in terms of fighting style and special skills. While Blue Falcon eliminates enemies at a distance using spears and missiles, Red Tiger excels in close combat, making use of claws and time manipulation skills. Silver Wolf sows panic among enemies with bombs, while Black Bear uses a shield to protect himself and his allies from enemy fire. The list is closed by Amber Fox, who absorbs enemy bullets and returns them to the opponents with ten times as much force. RPG elements appear in the game. Our machine can be equipped with additional weapons, including a shotgun, flamethrower or even an electromagnetic cannon; additionally, various improvements increasing the combat potential o the mechs await purchase, and a momentary advantage over our enemies can be provided by power-ups scattered across the levels. It's worth mentioning that the game enables us to adjust many settings to individual preferences; before starting a mission we can, among other things, turn on friendly fire or decide on the size of the so-called hitboxes, the capacity of the shields and the number of life points and the speed at which projectiles are fired. Game modesThe pillar of Stardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax is the story campaign, consisting of thirty stages. In addition, we can try our hand at the special Gauntlet mode, where the level of difficulty is constantly increasing, as well as in five predefined challenges. The title enables us to play solo as well as to cooperate with up to four other players. Technical aspectsStardust Galaxy Warriors: Stellar Climax adopts a cartoonish visual style.
