Empire Earth II for PC is the second installment of a popular real time strategy game that sees us assume control over one of the fourteen civilizations with a mission to lead them from the prehistoric times up to the era of space travel. This extraordinary goal is attained by developing new technologies, recruiting military units, and using them against opposing nations. MechanicsThe scale of changes introduced by Empire Earth II by far exceeds a simple addition of new units. First and foremost, we?re given a much more challenging AI. The AI-controlled opponents are now much faster and have the ability to tailor their approach based on our actions. For the first time in the history of the series, the weather conditions at hand affect the units? performance on the battlefield. As a result, the player has to modify his tactics and respond to the extreme weather, such as snowstorms, rain, or fog. To make the game easier for players less versed in real time strategy games, Empire Earth II offers a special system that assigns additional tasks for idle units, e.g. farming or resource gathering. Combat also received additional features, including an intelligent formation creator that simplifies leading large amounts of units. A number of novelties had been introduced to the online mode. An improved Crown System offers numerous rewards for notable achievements in combat, culture, or economy. Moreover, We received access to nine gameplay modes and additional mechanics, including Hot Spots, a mode that sees us defend strategic areas.
