Mr. Saitou is a narrative fantasy adventure game developed by Laura Shigihara, also responsible for Rakuen from 2017. Both games are part of the same series. PlotThe game tells the story of the titular Mr. Saitou, an overworked middle-aged Japanese salaryman suffering due to constant overtime and lack of close relationship. One day he gets into an accident, being hospitalized in serious condition. After losing consciousness, he wakes up in a strange magical land, about to take part in an adventure that will change his life forever. MechanicsMr. Saitou is a story-focused adventure game. It doesn't feature combat of any sort, instead focusing on exploration and dialogue. There are also some simple arcade and puzzle challenges that add more variety to the gameplay.
