Game description:
Rock Band 2 is a sequel to the music game created by Harmonix ? the developers of the first two Guitar Hero games and many other similar productions. The game, much like the first one, allows the players to become a member of a rock band (lead guitarist, bass player, drummer, or singer) and climb the virtual music world ladder or play in the multiplayer mode with friends. Rock Band 2 also utilizes controllers which are similar to real instruments. They are slightly changed compared to their counterparts from the previous game, but the equipment from the first Rock Band is still compatible with the sequel. The gameplay rules are not significantly different. Still, there are sequences of chords appearing on the guitar necks, between them there?s the drum track, and on the top of the screen, the melody for the singer along with the lyrics. In the background, we can see our virtual avatars which are fully customizable. Rock Band 2 introduces many minor improvements to its predecessor.
