Game description:
SimCity Societies is another installment of the bestselling economic strategy game. This time around, it was not developed by Maxis, but by Tilted Mill Entertainment which created such games, as Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile and Caesar IV. Along with the developer change, the gameplay rules were also modified. Building a virtual city and managing it is only half a success now, because you also need to devote yourself to its society. The latter is shaped by using six resources (for example: creativity, power, productivity). If we decide to invest big money into justice, security services and the like, the city changes it looks to that of 1984 by George Orwell: the citizens are constantly infiltrated by cameras, the buildings look like designed by madmen, the graphics are filtered in a dark manner, and so on. The character of the city also shapes the behavior of its citizens which are similar to those from The Sims series. The developers implemented well over three hundred types of buildings out of which only a few are available at the beginning of the game. Next are unlocked by developing the abovementioned resources, which encourages multiple playthroughs to achieve different outcome. It is also noteworthy that there are some buildings which are a nod to the real ones, such as monumental Azadi tower from Teheran. Last updated on 07 January 2015
