The new game was developed by Bossa Studios. PlotThe main protagonist is Nigel Burke. The title of the game is ironic because the protagonist isn?t a surgeon yet. This doesn?t stop him from trying to operate living people. The game features a large dose of black humor. MechanicsThe action in Surgeon Simulator CPR is presented from a first-person perspective. The gameplay focuses on ineffective attempts at operating a patient that usually end in destroying his body. It is worth mentioning that the interface of the game was designed from scratch with the use of unique functions of Nintendo Switch in mind ? mostly two joy-cons that simulate the movements of players? hands. Thanks to the HD Rumble function, the players can precisely feel the difference between various tools used during the ?operations? (this includes both the surgeon and house equipment, like a hammer). What?s interesting, the system that manages the gameplay was designed in such way that the player cannot fully control it. The repercussions of the players? actions are amusing ? for example, one can accidentally throw away the lungs of the patient, break his ribs or drop his heart on the floor. The game features a few types of challenges like transplantations of heart and brain, teeth operation and eyes operation. It is even possible to perform an autopsy of? an alien.
