Game description:
The sequel to Syberia ? a well known title and one of the best adventure games of all-times. All video game media dubbed it the best adventure game of 2002. The scenario of Syberia II for PC, PS2 and etc. was written, similarly as its predecessor, by a Belgian writer and artist Benoit Sokal, who also participated in the development of the title. PlotThe story of the second Syberia for PC, PS2 and etc. continues the events described in the first installment ? Sokal himself admits that at first, there was a single tale that split into two parts: Syberia and Syberia II. The action starts where the first game ended, in the Russian city Romansbourg. In this installment the main characters are Kate and Hans who are accompanied by the mechanical Oscar. This time Kate decides to follow Hans only because of her personal reasons and she lives behind her family matters, work etc. She becomes his companions and she helps him uncover the mystery of the mammoths. Misc.The greatest change in comparison to the first installment ? except for the story ? is the quality of the graphics. The game became much livelier and the gameplay dynamics were increased. Many new graphics effects were added, including dynamic shadows and animated snow. The action takes place in completely new locations (mostly in open space) and the surroundings aren?t as empty as before. There are more people and side characters to encounter (including more than 25 humans and 10 animals). There are more dramatic scenes as well. The game also explains many of the unresolved plots from the first title in the series. Syberia II for PC, PS2 and etc. takes place in four locations. The first one is the city of Romansbourg and then the story leads the protagonists to a location called the Great North Passage.
