Game description:
The Deeper Dungeons is the official addition to the original Dungeon Keeper strategy game, created by Peter Molyneux and his studio Bullfrog Productions. A characteristic feature of the game is the reversal of classic patterns: instead of playing as a daredevil trying to defeat the monsters lurking in deep dungeons, the game puts us in the role of the ruler of the underworld, defending these dungeons against the temptations of daredevils. The plugin brings fifteen new missions to play with the computer and the same number of maps dedicated to multiplayer games. However, those who were hoping for an exciting new campaign will be disappointed. Single player missions are not connected, and the game gives us the ability to pass them in any order, which is a significant difference compared to the basic version. However, in comparison to the original, their level of difficulty has been significantly increased. Hence, The Deeper Dungeons will be a challenge for the most ardent fans of the first part of the game. In addition to new, exciting tasks, the add-on introduces a number of improvements to the gameplay, correcting the shortcomings of the basic game. First of all, the artificial intelligence of both computer opponents and monsters has been significantly improved. Our enemies cope better with the accumulation of gold and the proper management of its resources. Their intelligence has also been increased during combat when the unit commander is defeated, the soldiers can choose a new leader from among themselves and continue the attack. The Deeper Dungeons was released in our country as part of the Dungeon Keeper Gold package containing the basic game with an extension.
