Rolling Ronny is a slightly unusual for its genre platformer, in which the player will play the role of the title boy, riding on skates. The plot of the program focuses around Fieldington, where a gang of bold thieves stole gems of enormous value. Ronny's task, whose inconspicuous appearance is to confuse enemies, is of course to find and complete the treasure. What about Ronny's adventures so unusual? First of all, in addition to jumping, shooting at enemies and avoiding cunningly placed traps, you need to earn money for a bus ticket, which will allow you to get to the next part of the city. This can be done in two ways by collecting coins scattered here and there, or by executing orders for people you meet. The latter mainly consist in transporting a parcel from one place to another and are not particularly difficult, but well paid. You can also bargain with some customers, which will sometimes result in an increase in remuneration. You can also spend money in the shops you meet along the way. You can buy there bonuses that occur in the game, such as a gadget that allows you to perform a few super jumps or a magnet that will attract all the items visible on the screen. These facilitations can also be found while wandering around the city, but as a rule access to them is difficult. The game contains nine long and extensive stages. To defeat each of them we have at our disposal a specific time, visible at the bottom of the screen. In addition, Ronny has to watch out for all the opponents who appear on the board (contact with them causes energy loss) and cash it's better not to overspend, because we may run out of money for a bus ticket. Rolling Ronny is characterized by a tasteful audiovisual setting, efficient and refined animation and a large number of meticulously made objects. Platforming enthusiasts should be satisfied, especially those who require more from this species than just running to the right and bypassing obstacles.
