CODE2040 is a game that follows the trend of Battle Royale games, slightly changing the formula of this type of gameplay by dividing players into 3-person teams. The game is kept in a futuristic/post-apocalyptic style, and it was developed by the Chinese WANIN Games. PlotThe game is set in a reality where a massive natural disaster has occurred. It destroyed most of the world, but also revealed a new, previously unknown area a realm called The Outside. This is where most of the resources needed for humanity's survival are found. The characters we play are prisoners hired by the R.D. Company. Our task is to explore the new kingdom, get rid of the threats in the designated area and then reach the control tower in time, teleporting us back to the base. MechanicsWe start the game in CODE2040 by customizing the appearance of our character. Among the available options are settings such as gender, hairstyle, clothing, skin colour or tattoos.
