Game description:
Midnight GT: Primary Racer is one of the first games to deal with the topic of illegal races of stunned cars. The production is inspired by the quite clearly popular game Rockstar Games from PlayStation 2, Midnight Club console (hence the non-accidental similarity of the title). An attempt to provide similar experiences to PC players was made by a developer known for budget racing games, Rage Software. According to the information contained in the documentation of the game, Midnight GT is a specially prepared demo, designed primarily to demonstrate to players the capabilities of the latest equipment, so the content of the title is quite poor, and the only mode of play is a series of single races. Victory in each of them opens the way to the next one. The game gives us the opportunity to sit behind the wheel of eight grazed albeit unlicensed vehicles. The authors did not foresee the possibility of independent tuning. The cars available in the garage, on the other hand, have already been improved, both technically and visually. We compete on 6 different routes, located in forest, mountainous or urban areas. According to the title of the game and the idea of illegal races, the fun takes place at night. Midnight GT is a typical arcade game in which cars do not suffer any damage. Even with more serious breakage, their effects are not visible on the body and we do not feel them while driving. Despite quite diverse routes and changing weather conditions, the game's graphic design is very budget and the driving model is underdeveloped, which sometimes makes the cars behave a little irrationally. The soundtrack is not very sophisticated fortunately, the authors left us the opportunity to use our own music from an audio disc or mp3 files.
