Game description:
Golf Peaks is a small puzzle game in which we play mini golf. The title was created by a small independent studio Afterburn, located in Lodz. The production debuted first on mobile devices with iOS and on PC. 7Levels from Krakow, responsible for Castle of Heart on Nintendo Switch, helped the team to port the game to other platforms. MechanicsOur task in Golf Peaks is to bring a single golf ball into the hole. The action of the game takes place on small two-dimensional maps, separated by a grid of fields, which are presented in isometric projection. At the bottom of the screen there are action tabs, which, when activated, change the position of the ball. Players must plan each subsequent move, taking into account the terrain and the location of the hole. Let's add that some of the blocks that make up the boards have special properties (e.g. they reflect the ball in the chosen direction), which makes it even more difficult to plan everything. The game contains a total of more than eighty levels of increasing difficulty and complexity, which are divided into seven worlds, differing in appearance and challenges. Technical aspectsGolf Peaks is characterized by a minimalist visuals, devoid of unnecessary effects, featuring relaxing BGM and sound effects. Last updated on 18 September 2021
