Waltz of the Wizard is a game combining elements of simulation and adventure game, developed by Aldin Dynamics. The title was created with virtual reality sets in mind, and was released on PC, where it is distributed for free. StoryThe story does not play a particularly important role in Waltz of the Wizard. The player takes on the role of a wizard residing at the top of a tower and is busy developing his magical skills. MechanicsIn Waltz of the Wizard we observe the action from FPP. The title enables us to test our magical and alchemical abilities, helped by an ancient spirit imprisoned in a human skull. During the game we can not only prepare potiobs based on the ingredients mixed in a big cauldron, but also create various spells and check their effect on the elements of the environment. Nothing stands in the way of making use of the objects we find, and at selected moments open portals leading to other locations. Among the spells made available to us, the leading role is played by telekinesis moreover, at any moment one can take a crossbow and shoot the bottles standing on shelves. This game requires the aforementioned virtual reality sets to work. We can look around freely, while motion controllers enable us to interact with objects. In the game there is an original system of movement, called the Telepath in order for our character to go in a specific direction, you first have to "draw" a path on the floor, which the character follows when moving from one point to another. Game modesWaltz of the Wizard offers single player mode and a local multiplayer mode. Technical aspectsWaltz of the Wizard features high-quality three-dimensional graphics.
