Game description:
A sports game based on the World Wrestling Federation license. It is a continuation of WWF War Zone released in mid-1998 and at the same time the last game of this type developed by Acclaim Entertainment. MechanicsWWF Attitude offers much more content than its predecessor. There are more than thirty real-life wrestlers to choose from, as well as many hidden fighters who can be unlocked as the game progresses. Each of them has four outfits to choose from, their own entrance to the ring and characteristic attacks. In total, there are more than twenty different types of duels to choose from: from traditional 1-on-1 battles, through battles involving up to six wrestlers, to confrontations on specific rules, requiring, for example, finishing off the rival with a special attack. WWF Attitude is based on proven duelling mechanics. The players can make subsequent attacks and throws by pressing the corresponding key combinations and directional keys. At the same time, the title brings a number of improvements, opening up new possibilities of interaction with the rival on the ropes surrounding the ring. Game modesThe basic mode of the game is the career mode, in which a fighter of our choice starts from scratch and tries to gain fame and three championship belts of the WWF federation, achieving further successes. As the game progresses, our character gains access to increasingly significant galas and events. The devs also made it possible to create our own wrestling events, as well as to generate a character in an extensive character editor. Technical aspectsThe game was dedicated to the tragically deceased player Owen Hart. Shane McMahon and Jerry Lawler played the role of commentators of events in the ring.
