Game description:
Berserk is an action game based on a manga series. Its creators are the people responsible for the creation of the Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage, known from the Dreamcast console. The game allows us to once again direct the actions of the warrior Gatsu, who wields a huge sword of death. The plot, as is often the case in games of this genre, goes to the background, being only a pretext for the real slaughter of hordes of monsters. That's more or less what the whole gameplay looks like: Gatsu breaks through successive locations, killing everything that stands in his way and finishing each stage with a fight with a powerful boss. Our hero has two types of sword attacks (lighter and stronger), assigned to separate pad buttons. He also has the ability to use a distance weapon (especially useful in fighting against bosses, whose enormous strength makes melee combat almost impossible to win), and is also able to enter into a state of combat fury. When we are in a state of frenzy, we see the world in blood red and get superhuman strength to cut enemies at an incredible speed. Such a fury does not last too long, so it is worth to use it as effectively as possible. Gatsu is not alone in his fight. At any time we can call on the help of friends with different skills. One of the companions, known from Sword of the Berserk, is Pak, who can heal wounds. Others can help us by killing the enemy with fire or freeze the attacking beasts for a few moments.
