Game description:
Inside is an action platformer with similar style to Limbo, the game that was surprisingly successful on Xbox 360 console in 2010 and later on PlayStation 3 and PC. The game was developed by Danish studio Playdead led by Dino Patti. Among the key authors of the game there is Arnt Jensen as well. His artistic vision of Limbo was the decisive factor of the success of first game developed by these developers. The Danish Film Institute financially supported the developers. Plot and mechanicsIn Inside the player controls an anonymous boy who travels through dark, rainy universe. He must stop the forces of evil that are trying to take over the world by experimenting on humans. Facing these forces means solving more or less complicated riddles and interacting with the surroundings. Many times it will require high manual skills and quick reflex. In comparison to the first game, the developers from Playdead added new features to the gameplay. However, the main rules of Inside are similar as in classic 2D platformer games. Technical aspectsThe title uses Unity engine known from such games as Rochard and Wasteland 2.
