Anomaly Collapse is a turn-based strategy game enriched with elements characteristic of the roguelite genre. The production is the work of the independent studio RocketPunch Games. StorylineThe title presents the fate of anthropomorphic heroes with unique abilities. Their task is to stop nightmarish entities from another world and to learn the secret of the supernatural catastrophe that took place in Epsilon City. However, the truth behind the events in the city will surpass each of them. GameplayAnomaly Collapse is a tactical game in which we take control of a squad of up to three soldiers. Our task is to properly use the skills of each of them to deal with monsters. Due to the limited two-dimensional board, all characters are aligned, forcing us to plan each action. Although the movement of the characters is limited, we can move them behind opponents and even position them in the middle of enemy ranks. Thanks to this, we are able to more effectively execute blows in the back, attack from the flanks or use area actions. In the game we get access to a number of heroes with unique biographies, as well as roles and skills. Our team will include Glitch the fox (with the help of a sword attacks many enemies at once), Verica the catwoman (supported by the power of a powerful spirit), Stray the bear (focuses enemy attacks on his shield) or Regel the wolf (master of stealth attacks). The right selection of the group and the combination of abilities of its members determine victory or defeat. Combat is facilitated by equipping heroes with artifacts encountered in Epsilon City. With their help we get additional effects some of them provide passive bonuses, others can be activated during a clash to reverse its fate. In Anomaly Collapse there is no shortage of events that escape all norms, which has a major impact on the battlefield, which is constantly changing (e.g. it tilts or is showered with fireballs).
