The Liga Polska Manager series has been developed since the mid-1990s. Edition numbered 2005 is its seventh edition. According to an unwritten tradition, developers led by Mariusz Trzaska reached for proven solutions, which they enriched with several innovations. The player again has the opportunity to play the role of manager of a football club. This time the choice can be made from nearly 200 authentic teams playing every day in three Polish leagues (first, second and third leagues). According to the canon of most sports managers, the player starts the game with a modest budget and a very limited team of players. His tasks include determining the starting lineup and match tactics, imposing training regimes (or hiring a coach), guarding contracts and transferring players. The club's management activities, including stadium expansion, running a football school, fishing for talent, concluding sponsorship agreements, taking out loans and investing on the stock exchange, are also of great importance. The most exciting element of the game are matches played in real time (with the active pause option). The player not only determines the composition of the team, but also the tactics he can modify during the game. The situation on the pitch is indicated by a pressure indicator, which in a simple way illustrates which team has gained an advantage (which, however, does not always translate immediately into the goal score). It is not possible to run foreign clubs in the game. However, good results in the highest class allow you to play in the prestigious UEFA Cup or Champions League, which opens the way for competition with the leading teams of European football. There is also an option to transfer players from other countries. From the visual point of view, Liga Polska Manager 2005 does not differ much from the earlier version of the cycle. The game continues to focus mainly on numbers, analyses and charts, and the graphics in the game only serve as decorations.
