DISTANT is an original platform game, which is the debut project of the independent Australian studio Slingshot and Satchel. The game was published by Snowman, a company that released the warmly-received Alto's Adventure StoryIn DISTANT the players find themselves in a pastel, oneiric world. Their task is to prevent the progressive destruction of the fantasy land. In addition, the protagonist must face up to their own past and learn the price of sacrifice. During the game, the player gets to know the subsequent threads of the enigmatic story, step by step, putting together the next elements of the puzzle. MechanicsIn DISTANT the action is presented in side perspective. The game focuses on exploring unusual surroundings, jumping on platforms and overcoming various obstacles.
