Gunpowder is a Wild West-based puzzle game in which players are supposed to trigger carefully planned explosions. The game was developed by independent studio Rogue Rocket Games, founded by two experienced developers, who have worked on such titles as Earthworm Jim, MDK, Escape from Monkey Island or Star Wars: Republic Commando. PlotThe plot of Gunpowder is inspired by the classic Robin Hood legend, transferred into the realities of the Wild West. The main antagonist here is the wicked Grimshaw who saw profit in the railway expansion. We play as a lonely avenger named Incendio, who, armed only with his own cleverness and a barrel of gunpowder, intends to thwart the millionaire's plans. MechanicsGunpowder offers 150 different levels, divided into 5 chapters (plus one bonus chapter). Our task is to arrange controlled explosions. Although we can only use gunpowder barrels, we can start each explosion by using various elements of the environment, such as speeding trains and their wagons, mine trolleys, cannons, and even ordinary candlesticks. Players can show their creativity and be rewarded with points. Technical aspectsGunpowder offers colorful and cartoon graphics enriched with a large dose of "western" sense of humour from such cult cartoons as Lucky Luke.
