Sudoku Mania is another NDS title (after Brain Age and Sudoku Gridmaster), offering virtual fun in the popular logical game Sudoku. This is the first game of this type for NDS, released by a company other than Nintendo. The rules of the game are the same as in the classic paper Sudoku. On a board of nine squares, each of which consists of nine smaller ones, the numbers must be arranged in such a way that they do not repeat themselves in a vertical and horizontal line through all nine squares. It sounds simple, but in practice the Sudoku party can last many hours. Undoubtedly, the most interesting feature offered by Sudoku Mania is the algorithm, which enables random generation of puzzles. This means that the player can enjoy the new challenges infinitely long, so that the game stays "fresh" for a very long time. The control is carried out in a classic way (with a pad and buttons) or by means of a touch screen. On this panel there is a virtual pad, through which we can control the game. Sudoku Mania does not, however, offer the possibility of entering values directly into individual cells of squares, nor of applying one's own (temporary) erasures (which is quite important in the case of more difficult puzzles). The creators of Sudoku Mania also made it possible to play a two-player game, in which the players compete alternately, and then the program summarizes which player achieved a better result. The difficulty level can be set in the game options, as well as whether you want to play on a 3x3 or 2x2 board. If we are bored with numbers written into squares, it is possible to change them into colourful symbols. Before the party you can also choose a background that makes the game more enjoyable.
