Shame Legacy is a combination of an action adventure game and survival horror. It was co-developed by Fairyship Games and Revenant Games. The game revolves around exploring grim areas, stealth and puzzles. Due to its gruesome content, Shame Legacy is intended for adults only. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4. PlotShame Legacy is set in the 19th century the game's amnesiac protagonist awakens near a mysterious village. Its inhabitants turn out to be insane murderous cultists who soon target the protagonist and start hunting him down. Their choice of victim isn't accidental, as our character's heritage plays an important role in the story. MechanicsShame Legacy is a first-person horror game emphasizing stealth, avoiding enemies, discovering the secrets of the village as well as the protagonist's role in the story. The player gets to explore many disturbing locations such as abandoned encampments, undergrounds, cemeteries and cornfields. Our only companions are anxiety-inducing darkness and the constant sense of danger. We must stay out of the cultists' way whenever possible, as they outnumber us and constantly try to track us. If we're found out, we can either flee or defend ourselves with our cane. Combat should be a last resort, however, as the enemies are agile and very strong. While playing Shame Legacy we must stay sharp not only when dealing with cultists but also when interacting with the environment.
