Rogue Spirit is an action game with stealth elements and solutions taken from the roguelike genre. Game was developed by Kids With Sticks independent studio. PlotRogue Spirit takes us on a journey to the fantastic kingdom of Midra, inspired by the Far East. Centuries ago this land was invaded by Chaos a Demon King. The invasion ended unsuccessfully for him, as he was defeated by the prince of Midra and imprisoned. After many centuries the dark invader managed to free himself and once again tried to conquer Midra. This time, however, he managed to crush almost all resistance and absorbed into his army everyone who was brave enough to try and confront him. Fortunately all is not yet lost as a group of monks have decided to perform a ritual and summon the spirit of their greatest hero to Midra to try once more to confront Chaos. MechanicsIn Rogue Spirit the action is presented from a third person perspective (TPP). There are ten procedurally generated locations to visit, located in five different biomes. We try to drive the forces of evil out of Midra, and at the same time get closer to the Demon King in order to strike him the final blow. As a ghost, the main character cannot interact with the physical world, but he can take over the bodies of his enemies, thus gaining access to their abilities. Enemies, which we can possess, represent twenty classes. Characters are differentiated in terms of combat skills, strengths and weaknesses, fighting style, as well as preferred weaponry. Among them there are both slow muscular thugs and agile heroes who can move silently, who prefer to operate in secret and quietly eliminate their adversaries. Although most of the time we spend in the bodies of defeated enemies, we are often forced to leave them, for example to pass through terrain obstacles as a ghost. As we progress, we also develop the prince's abilities by unlocking permanent upgrades. Technical aspects Rogue Spirit graphic design is kept in a colourful, eye-pleasing style.
