Game description:
Kaiju-A-GoGo for PC is an independent game that combines the traits of action games, strategy games and simple RPGs. It was developed by Kerberos Productions, a studio known for creating the space strategy Sword of the Stars. The production was backed by two parallel campaigns in crowdfunding services Kickstarter and Indiegogo. PlotIn the game the player assumes the role of a mad scientist named Norman E. Farius. He constructed the first human-controlled Kaiju machine (the term means ?a wild beast? and is mostly related to Japanese science-fiction cinematography and to monsters like Godzilla). As revenge for being bullied in the past, the protagonist has only one objective: to use the Kaiju to conquer the whole world. As one can presume, completing this task is related to the wave of terror and destruction that consumes the world. There are five years to achieve the goal and other scientists, with their own machines, will try to stop the player. MechanicsThe PC version of the game starts in a secret laboratory from which the player plans his first attacks on unsuspecting areas of the world. Then the player is taken to the battle area where the player-controlled Kaiju will destroy large areas and face police officers, soldiers and other robots. For conquering various regions of the world the player is awarded with points and resources that enable him to improve the laboratory and Kaiju?s skills between the attacks. This will make the monster stronger, faster and more resistant. The game ends once the player manages to conquer all areas of the world within the five-year time limit. Technical aspectsThe action in Kaiju-A-GoGo for PC is presented in an isometric perspective and the graphics of the game are similar to classic titles from nineties like SimCity 2000, Bedlam and the Crusader series.
