Achilles: Legends Untold is an action RPG inspired by soulslikes and classic hack'n'slash games. It was developed by an indie Polish studio Dark Point Games. PlotAchilles: Legends Untold is set in a world of Greek mythology. The titular hero, Achilles, is stuck in the middle of a conflict between Hades and Ares. To end their eternal battle, he must face Ares' son, Phobos. On his dangerous journey, he's assisted by Hephaestus, the god of smithing. MechanicsAchilles: Legends Untold is an isometric game. The game is set in various dangerous areas, ranging from ruined cities and temples to dense forests and dark dungeons. The player must explore these areas, completing quests and fighting enemies. Combat primarily takes place in melee, as the player wields swords, spears and shields. Achilles must stay mobile, blocking enemy attacks, dodging and countering. Aside from regular foes, he'll also face powerful cyclopes and giant crabs. Though a mythical hero, he must be careful, as even common enemies can be a real challenge. The game features the GAIA system, which ensures groups of enemies behave realistically, working together and adapting to our fighting style. As we progress, we develop our protagonist, learning new abilities, upgrading them and acquiring better gear.
