Game description:
Nefarious for PC is a classic, 2D platformer by a small studio called StarBlade. The producers never produced a AAA title, but the independent scene may value them for productions like Tadpole Treble and Swapdrop Poker. PlotUnlike other platformers in which you almost always have to save the world or some damsel in distress, in Nefarious you are the bad guy. Your job is to kidnap the princesses of five kingdoms. While escaping, you need to fight a number of chivalrous knights and warriors who are there to save their princess. MechanicsEven though the game?s concepts do not follow the standards of the genre, in reality the title resembles e.g. Mighty No. 9. Gameplay of Nefarious released on PC primarily consists in jumping on heads of the opponents, avoiding obstacles, and, naturally, fighting. The hero is not a marine armed to teeth. Instead, he uses his fists and a grenade launcher that fires different kinds of grenades. Combat with basic enemies is not very demanding. However, it gets hot when reverse boss fights emerge ? after all, you are the boss and you need to stop charging enemies with the use of various war engines. Technical aspectsThe title by StarBlade features good-looking, 2D visuals, but do not expect the game to look as astonishingly as e.g. Rayman Legends. The locations in Nefarious vary significantly.
