Vaulters? heroes are curious and resistant ? they provide bonus to defense and science research. Opbot DV8, a hero known by the fans of the Endless universe, returns in the add-on. In addition to that, the Sisters of Mercy, one of the lesser factions, are helping the Vaulters in search for a new home. The developers also included an option to participate in diplomacy with pirates ? creating an alliance with them provides support in combat. Endless Space 2: Vaulters enables the players to participate in four exploration missions. The game also enables the players to unlock new deeds that provide great advantage over other civilizations.
