Developed by Zen Studios, CastleStorm II is a combination of Angry Birds gameplay style and tower defence mechanics. Its projectiles resemble characters from the Angry Birds series players plan on where and from what angle to shoot a missile. There are also several types of missiles: from the simplest bolts to flying eagles each with its own unique properties useful in a variety of situations.
