Oddworld: Hand of Odd is another game from the Oddworld series, being the first RTS embedded in this universe, as well as the first production of this family to enable online gameplay. A player can stand on the side of the Glukkons hungry for profit and try to exploit nature to the limits of its possibilities, or join friendly Mudokons and protect it from this unfortunate fate. Created by Just Add Water studio, the production, unlike other titles of Oddworld, does not focus on the story of a single hero. This time, the story is presented from many different perspectives figures caught in the crossfire of two fighting factions. Choosing between the Mudokon leader or the manager of the industrialized Glukkon race, the player learns history from many different points of view. This choice also affects the course of the game, as well as the path of development of the story itself. As Tree Huggers, the player is responsible for protecting endangered animal species, planting and cultivating plants, and defending its indigenous territory. In opposition to ecologists are the Land Muggers, represented by the greedy Glukkon race, who base their power on the slave labor of the individual. Playing the role of exploiters and oppressors, the player focuses on the most profitable exploitation of the occupied area, without paying unnecessary attention to the welfare of nature or the laws of the local population. This one can be understood to serve in due course as guinea pigs for testing new machines and products that drive the corporate giant's profits. The main goal of Oddworld: Hand of Odd is to give the player a choice. When commanding a number of units and starting the construction of their characteristic buildings, we must remember that each action entails certain changes and consequences whether for nature, or for the characters and heroes we lead. These are composed of the biggest stars of the series, such as: Abe, Munch, Lulu or Humphrey. Each of them also has an individual special skill.
