PlotThe protagonist of The Forest Quartet is Nina, a deceased main singer in a music band. Seeing how the other band members can't move past her death, Nina's ghost tries to help them deal with their intense emotions, other threats and let them regain their musical drive. MechanicsThe Forest Quartet makes use of the top-down perspective. The game is set in a dense forest and divided into acts, each dedicated to a different band member. We'll need to heal decaying nature that inspird Kirk, restore light and dispatch the monsters lurking in JB's home, and fix an underground water system to save Sebastian from a volcanic eruption. To do so, we must traverse the forest, floating above the ground, solving puzzles. We can also transform into butterflies and glance into our party members' minds. Technical aspectsThe Forest Quartet features colorful, cartoonish, high-quality visuals. One of the game's strongest points is its audio, consisting of the soundtrack by Danish Radio Big Band and ambient noises, like crackling fire or blowing winds.
