The Abandoned, released on AND and iOS, is an adventure action game focusing on the survival aspect. The project was developed by Yadon studio. PlotThe Abandoned takes us to a mysterious island full of monsters and other threats. Our priority is to survive and find a way to escape from this cursed place. At the beginning of the game, we know practically nothing, but as the game progresses, we slowly discover new pieces of information, which will eventually allow us to discover the truth about the island. MechanicsThe action in The Abandoned is observed from the first-person perspective. The island has an open structure and the freedom of exploration is unrestricted. However, there are practical limitations we start the game weak and unarmed, so every long expedition will end tragically. The virtual world is full of living corpses, monsters, and aggressive animals. Nature can also deprive us of life, as well as strange supernatural anomalies. The latter may also lead us to a loss of sanity. While playing, we have to explore the world, fight enemies, collect resources, hunt animals and use the crafting system to construct weapons, clothes, tools, and buildings that protect against dangers. It is also necessary to search for artifacts associated with anomalies, allowing you to improve your hero's abilities. An additional attraction is the day and night cycle, in which the world becomes much more dangerous when darkness falls. In addition to the pure fight for survival, The Abandoned also offers numerous role-playing missions. However, we can skip them and play in the storyless survival mode.
