30 Days on Ship is a simulator with survivalist elements. In it we play the role of a lonely castaway who fights for survival on the ocean waters. The production is the work of independent studio Klapson Games. The plotThe game tells the story of a man miraculously saved from the crash of a container ship, for whom the accident in the Pacific Ocean becomes a test of the limits of endurance. The protagonist must survive thirty days in the wreckage, facing hunger, dangerous animals and storms. His mental health will also be put at risk. Gameplay30 Days on Ship is a first-person title focused on exploration and skillful use of resources. We start the gameplay on a ship, which before the accident was used to transport goods. This gives us the opportunity to use the contents of the containers present on board. Initially, we are limited to checking containers with damaged locks, but after acquiring a cutter we can easily deal with the sealed ones as well. As the game progresses, we gradually discover more methods of exploring the ship and its surroundings. Thanks to footbridges and numerous vehicles (including motorcycles, quads), we efficiently move around the deck, and acquiring diving equipment, allows us to explore the depths. In turn, with the help of drones, we more easily find places of interest. One of the key elements of the production is to take care of the level of the basic character co-factors, i.e. endurance, strength and hunger. It is necessary to search for food (e.g. bird eggs, cans of drinks, etc.) and provide the hero with shelter from the changing weather conditions. To this end, we will adapt the ship's rooms to our needs by placing power generators, lighting or an ice box. In 30 Days on Ship there is no shortage of encounters with aggressive representatives of local fauna, including sharks or lizards.
